Embark on an extraordinary backcountry ski adventure through Chile’s most iconic volcanoes. Led by Joe St Onge, AMGA ski guide, and expert local mountain guides, you will summit and ski at least four volcanoes while experiencing world-class spring skiing, breathtaking Andean landscapes, and rich local culture.
This trip is for skiers looking to explore remote peaks, enjoy long descents on perfect corn snow, and fully immerse themselves in the adventure of ski mountaineering. The experience is enhanced by cozy mountain lodges, authentic Chilean cuisine, and warm hospitality.

HOSTING
This tour includes a dedicated customer experience host available 24/7 for any unforeseen needs.

Day 1: Arrival in Temuco & Transfer to Malalcahuello
· Reception at Temuco Airport (ZCO).
· 2-hour drive to Malalcahuello, surrounded by ancient araucaria forests and snow-covered mountains.
· Check-in at a mountain lodge.
· Short tour around Corralco Ski Resort to explore the surroundings and warm up.
· Welcome dinner featuring local specialties such as Patagonian barbecue and Chilean wine.

Day 2: Skiing on Lonquimay Volcano
· Ascent of Lonquimay Volcano (2,865m / 9,400ft) with excellent ski touring conditions.
· Skiing inside the crater (if conditions allow) before a 4,920ft descent straight to the hot springs.
· Relax at the lodge with local craft beer.

Day 3: Skiing on Sierra Nevada & Pehuenche Culture
· Ski touring in Sierra Nevada, combining open alpine terrain and forest runs.
· Visit a Pehuenche indigenous community to learn about their traditions.
· Traditional dinner with local storytelling.

Day 4: Ascent & Skiing on Llaima Volcano
· Ski ascent of Llaima Volcano (3,125m / 10,250ft), one of Chile’s most active volcanoes.
· Stunning views of Conguillío National Park.
· Relaxation at the lodge with optional spa and massages.

Day 5: Transfer to Pucón & Leisure
· 3-hour drive to Pucón, a charming town by Lake Villarrica.
· Free afternoon to explore local artisan shops and cafes.
· Optional kayaking on the lake or soaking in nearby hot springs.

Day 6: Skiing on Villarrica Volcano
· Ski ascent of Villarrica Volcano (2,847m / 9,340ft), featuring a smoking crater and stunning panoramic views.
· Descent through beautiful lenga forests.
· Sunset by the lake with a Pisco Sour in hand.

Day 7: Optional Skiing in Quetrupillán Volcano
· Option to ski Mocho-Choshuenco (2,422m / 7,950ft) for one final epic ski day.
· Alternatively, enjoy a day of relaxation, visiting waterfalls, national parks, or a boat ride on the lake.
· Farewell dinner featuring fresh seafood and fine wines from Colchagua Valley.

Day 8: Return to Temuco & Departure
· Free morning for shopping or short hikes.
· Transfer to Temuco Airport. End of the journey.

· Aldea Naukana Lodge, Pucón: Boutique accommodation in the heart of Pucón.
